Due to the ongoing concerns with the COVID-19 pandemic, our Mission Team will be working locally again this year. Our week of service will begin Monday June 21st through Friday June 25th. Adam, Jim, and Mike met in mid-March to begin the planning process. The team will be focusing on three areas:
– Older EAC members that are in need of home repairs, painting, shrub and tree trimming/light landscaping, etc.
– Working with NeighborLink of Fort Wayne
– Work projects at Camp Indogan
On the north bulletin board in the foyer is a sign-up sheet for members who wish to participate. Additionally, in April, a project box will be placed on the large table in the foyer for members requesting assistance. Sometime by the end of April or early May a team meeting will be held to plan and organize the work projects.
Our theme for that week is found in Ephesians 2:10, where Paul writes “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.”
